Setting Of My Upcoming Short-Story

After passing high school, I went to an extremely famous college in my place. There I found myself drowning in a deep sea of strangers who didn’t pay attention to others around them. They never welcomed new students. They were dismissive and typical judgmental. I suffered alone with no friends around me. There I gained a lesson of emptiness.

Before, entering the college I was used to have loving people around me. So, it became really tough to remain there. I left that college and joined another one. New one was awesome. I felt like living once again. No one disliked me here, they were good to me. I made good friends there. I’m still in contact with them.

This experience lead me to create something new that illustrates what emptiness is. At the same time I’m working on creating   a new definition of mercy, and kindness during the times of trouble.

My upcoming short story is about a guy whose life got screwed and broken in just a day. He lost his wife and daughter. His wife was pregnant with a girl. She died on the birth table while giving birth to their daughter. When he buried them, he found emptiness in his soul. Now his life is a wreck, and his dreams are shattered. He doesn’t wish to meet a purpose of living further. He is drunk and broken and pissed on everything. He’s wandering on the streets of Karachi city in the midnight’s dark. There he parked his car near a foot path, leaning on the driving seat, he started drinking and cursing. There’s rain outside accompanied by lightning and thundering.

He suddenly heard slight cries. He opened the door of his car and pull out of it.  There he meets a little body stick to the back door of his car. The little body is soaked and shaking, may be of shivering. He steps towards it and found a girl shaking with chill. She’s about four or maybe five years old. He guesses. When he went near her, speaking. “Who are you?” She doesn’t say but lifts her head and stared straight in his eyes. She opens her mouth but nothing comes out. And as she opened her eyes, she closes it back and passes out.

Well, this is not the end it’s the beginning of new trouble and excitement in the story. If you wish to see what appears next, you need to go and subscribe my website. So, when the story gets published you can easily reach it out.
